Two specialized programs providing social engagement and dementia-focused support for seniors.

Winterberry Integrated Adult Day Program

Located in Stoney Creek and opened in 2005, this program offers a socially engaging, stay-active environment for seniors who want to remain connected and maintain wellness. 

This program is available for individuals who may be experiencing one or more of the following: 

  • Need for extra support, due to chronic health conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes.
  • Early to moderate stages of cognitive impairment.
  • Limited social interaction.

Meadowlands Dementia-Specific Program 

Located in Ancaster, opened in 2008, this program provides specialized support for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. 

This program is available to individuals who have:

  • Moderate to advanced cognitive impairment.
  • A need for frequent cuing and directing.
  • A need for continual supervision and support.

Our Dementia-Specific Program offers smaller groups and a secure facility for members who may be at risk of getting lost if they were to leave the facility unaccompanied.
